Default Reasonably quick change from D to home brew?

Can someone come up with a reasonably quick way to switch from a D style keg coupler to home brew? I don't want to be pulling hoses on and off of hose barbs all the time because eventually they'll leak. Right now my lines come off my tap and CO2 and terminate like the hose in this picture (http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-...d-547C60A.html) But I would need them to terminate in a ball lock fitting for home brew. Right now the only way I can think of fix this is if I had some kind of little pig tail of line that had a male threaded metal piece on one end and the home brew coupler on the other end. Then I could unscrew the lines from the D-coupler and screw them to these pigtails and boom, now I've got my lines terminated in ball lock style. Problem is, I don't see this male threaded part would allow me to create these pigtails. Thoughts?

I can't be sure, not having a home-brew set up. But have you thought about using Micromatic's quick disconnects?

Try this http://www.northernbrewer.com/tubing.html about halfway down the page. They also have matching tail pieces.

Do not meddle in the affairs of dragons, for you are crunchy and good with Tabasco and home brew

Thats what I would've done. You could also use an air distribution manifold with ball valves and have two (or even three) different lines with different couplers, homebrew as well. Here is what I am refering to: http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-...pid-1242S.html

Now that I think about it, you really wouldn't need the shut off valves.

Looks like each of those solutions will work. I got locked out of my account here but have been trying to get on to tell you guys thanks. I think I'll probably go with the quick disconnects so I can fully switch out couplers. I'll just put males on the lines and females attached to pig tails of line that are attached to each coupler.

Check out Morebeer's quick disconnect set-up. I converted a friends keg frig with these so he could dispense home brew.

The name of the fittings are called Guest fitiings, and they come in all types and sizes. You would need a set (male & female) on both the air line and the beer line.
