Welcome to the forum nitrojoe726. Did you allow the keg to acclimate to your 36F? First thing I would check is the valve on top of the keg for damage and if this is intact, check for pressure leaks. Check out the education link.

Is the keg 36 degrees or is that what you have the kegerator set to? Check the liquid temp and I think you may find it warmer than that. Danby has had some temperature issues in the past.

I got my Danby working fine, even not knowing if it is hitting the exact desired temperature. My first keg was foamy but I didn't let it settle before I tapped it and it was at room temperature. I also tapped and untapped it probably 12 times trying to get everything working. Once I got everything working and got a new keg of beer, it pours just like at the bar. Provide us some more details about what you have done. Assume nothing.

Nitro,

No I don't think it is normal to have foam around the coupler, there should not be foam or liquid anywhere on the outside of coupler. What part of the coupler do you see foam....is it the part that connects to the keg or the hose that comes out of the coupler that goes to the faucet?
