Default Beer Line Turbulence

How big of a factor is beer line turbulence? I want to install two faucets on a jockey box to a single keg. There is a stainless steel Y splitter that attaches straight to a coupler that I can use ($20) or a plastic Y splitter for the vinyl hose that comes off the coupler ($0.85).

Q1: Is the turbulence caused by both of these devices about the same?
Q2: How big of a factor is turbulence to foaming beer?
Q3: If the Keg and the lines are kept under the proper pressure, won't the beer's CO2 stay in solution no matter how many times I split a line?

Use the threaded beer line splitter to attach the 2 hoses with washers and wingnuts. It's neater, cleaner and less chance of leaks. You can also use the 2 beer lines on 2 different kegs if you want, you won't be able to do that with a splitter in line.

"If you tap it, they will come."
