    Default Gas off for storage?

During periods of non use usually 48 hours max should I turn gas off? I ask this because I have a Miller Lite pony keg that poured perfect first couple of nights but after I let it sit for a couple of days all I get is foam on every pour. Specs are as follows: 5' 3/16 clean beer line , 100% C02 set at 14PSI, 38deg liquid temp, Elev. 735 ft. Thanks for any help given.

turning it off wont hurt, once your keg is pressurized it should pour ok for a while, you will save on co2 it will also reduce the chance of overcarbonation does your beer temp increase or decrease when not in use?

Ive had my kegerator for 16 months now and on my 2nd co2 bottle. the only time I close the valve is to replace the bottle. I use the regulator shutoff to clean the lines and back on it goes. kegerators are infamous for foaming due to the tower which is insulated and cold air does not rise, it falls to the bottom of the unit. if I had to do it over again it would have been a fridge conversion.

I am familiar with comercial dispensing I didn't know kegerators were designed that way I deal with them accassionally thanks for the info top .The beer sitting in the tower is getting warm and when cold beer hits it foams try digging out that insulation so cold air can get into your tower

I understand that I have a beer cooled system and have given into the fact that due to tower being warm, not having a fan, I must pour a half cup of foam to get the line in the tower cool enough to dispense properly. The problem I'm having goes beyond that. Every glass is 80% foam. Is my pressure set too high for my elevation?
