Default MAJOR LEAK

3 weeks ago my roomate and I purchased our first kegorator. It's a summit SBC 500. Well, we had the thing 3, maybe 4 days, and got a hair up our @#$ to make a trip to the west coast to visit a friend in Portland (from IN). In the time we were here we drank maybe a half a keg tops. When we walked in today the keg was dry and the floar was drenched. We read some of the postings about leaks, but are curious as to whether our problem could be something even more severe.

Appreciate any advice.

Was there any evidence of where the beer may have leaked out? For example was there beer on top of the unit indicating the faucet leaked? Was there beer on top of the keg indicating the beer line leaked. Was there only beer only in the floor of the kegerator indicating that the keg leaked (unlikely).

My bet is the rubber washer at the end of the beer line was left out or the nut wasn't tightened properly.

There was beer on top of the keg. It looked like it had been spitting from the tap itself.

check for the black washer that goes inbetween the beer line and coupler, this is a must have for leaks
