Default Victory Lager - keg coupler and CO2 volume

Just wanted to share with everyone:

Victory beers (www.victorybeer.com) use a D coupler.

Also for Victory lager, 14psi / 38 degrees F works perfect for me.

Here's a copy of an email from them.. I think their "draft wizard" is a little off but oh well.

quote:I’ve asked the person here who is our “draft wizard” and here is his response:

“We have found that 12 psi is in balance for our beer at 38 degrees, but that will tend to rocket out too fast. If you put a longer line on in 3/16", it will help slow it down. If you want to dispense at 8 psi, it will work fine but the beer will lose carbonation over time. Sometimes the best solution is to serve it at 34-35 degrees and 8 psi. That way, the beer keeps its carbonation longer and it pours easily without any additional line length.”
