New BM23 with Foam
Just recently bought a new Beverage-Air BM23. My first keg tapped is a 1/6 Michelob Ultra Amber. I have 5' 3/16 beer line and 5' 5/16 gas line. Temperature is 38 deg. and CO2 is 14. The problem I'm having is foam on some pours. If I use a big insulated mug or pitcher, I get the right amount of foam, but if i use the typical 16 oz. plastic cups it is almost all foam. Also my CO2 pressure seems to keep going up to 16. If I bleed the system and reset to 14 it creeps back to 16. Any suggestions, also I'm in Florida at sea level.

What type of plastic cup are you using? The surface can have a reaction to the beer. Everthing else seems to check out. As to the gauge increasing, have you conducted a leak test?

Scott,
The cups are the basic 16 oz. red plastic party cups that you get at Wal-Mart in a bag. Also, how do you recommend do a leak test?

Perform a leak test using the high pressure gauge on your regulator. Faucet is closed, keg is coupled in on position and all valves are in the open position. Note the reading on the high pressure gauge and turn the cylinder valve wheel off. Watch this pointer on the gauge for several minutes. If it begins to drop, you have a leak. Use soapy water and swab the pressure fittings to determine where a leak resides if you have one.

your regulator might be creeping turn off co2 use pressure release on tavern head to bleed gas off keg reset to 10-12 turn co2 on if it creeps your regulator is faulty turn off co2 remove air line from tavern head (the one on the side) make sure there is no beer in the line getting inside your regulator good luck
