Cleaning Danby Stainless Door
I've tried numerous cleaners and wipes on the door and just comes out very streaky and never looks like it did the day I took it out of the box. Anybody have any suggestions?

If you want that shine and to burn off beer caloires too get finish grade steal wool and rub bady rub, or use your car buffer too with stainless steal paste, will work too but it won't polish away the love handles as well as elbow grease.

I've had good results on my stainless grill and kegerator top with Simple Green SS Cleaner/Polish that I bought at Home Depot.

The wipes I get at Wal-Mart work fine for me. The thing is to wipe vertically and not just smear around in circles.

That's exactly what I did (going north and south), but still same results. I have read online where people said to try baby oil for cleaning brushed stainless steel, but I felt safer asking on this forum first before trying that! Thanx to all for the replies.

I worked in a butcher shop when I was a kid. After cleaning the stainless steel meat saws, grinders and such, we oiled them down with vegetable oil. We applied the oil with cheese cloth and we still had to do the vertical strokes to keep it from leaving streaks. If you do this with the baby oil, apply it very sparingly.

Thanx, Psychodad. Well advised. I have Pledge Stainless steel wipes, and after my/your latest posts I tried them again with the same results (streaky lines). I'll try the baby oil (with very minimal application) and see what I get.

I have a product called Bar Keepers Friend, works good on stainless as well as in the bath and kitchen. The one I have is liquid but it comes in powder too. The wife thinks she bought it at World Market. They also have a web address if you can't find it
Bar Keepers Friend -- The can do cleanser! www.barkeepersfriend.com
I haven't tried this web so I don't know the results

Thanx to all that have replied with suggestions.
All of my kitchen appliances are stainless steel and I have no issues at all keeping them clean (with no streaking), but none of those same cleaners seem to keep the Danby door streak-free at all. Any other Danby owners out there have any tips/suggestions?
