Default hose to use with blower

I previously had a small pc fan that I put together in tuperware with a hose to blow into my tower. It worked ok but was only 5 volts and I was still having trouble getting the perfect pour. So I just purchased a blower style pc fan as in link below.
Not sure if I posted the picture properly but in any case its a rectangle opening that exhaust from the fans. I am wondering if anyone has any ideas or photos of how they have the air from this rectangular opening going into a hose up into there tower.
    Any ideas are appreciated.

Unless you can find some type of an adapter to go from rectangular to round, you may need to improvise with silicone or tape to patch the holes. Squeeze the end of this flex tube so that it will insert into the blower and seal away.

So far squeezing a hose in and using tape is the best I can think of too. Im just wondering if anyone has a idea that is a little prettier. Thanks.

You could get a small block of styrofoam, drill a hole the size of the round hose all the way through. Trace and center rectangle opening over the hole. Then using a Dremel or a paring knife cut away the extra foam of the rect. until it conforms to the round hole.

Your mileage my vary of course but....I have a similar blower in my kegerator :::::cough...Vissani....cough::: and I just have the blower hose up against the opening. The left over air from the blower circulates the air in my kegerator. Seem to get plenty of air flow up to the tower. Just a thought.

you could plexiglass or lexan to make a reducer.both can be cut with a table saw, miter saw,or dremel.you can use sand paper to smooth the cuts,or if I were making it I would use a palm sander.then glue and clamp the pieces together,If you don't have clamps tape will work, just be sure and wipe excess glue off with a damp towel so it doesn't dry to the tape.hope this helps.

What i ended up doing actually was cutting two slits opposite each other from the bottom up about one to two inches. This allowed me to spread the hose open like a v. I then attached one end to each side of the blower. Lastly, I wrapped tape around the hose to close the v opening caused by the slits. This technique was quick and easy and allowed the blower to be reduced in size from the blower to the hose size. It works great.
