Default haier kegerators

I bought a Haier kegerator and have had nothing but warm beer. I bought the extended waranty and a service guy came out and said it was functioning fine, it was the fault of the design. He said the cold plate cooling system was too ineffeicent to cool a keg lower than 40 degrees with out icing up the plate in back. I ajusted it warmer and frost still was forming. The plate ices up without cooling the keg. Does anyone have any ideas what to do? How about a recall, or class action lawsuit as it seems everyone has been screwed by Haier making such a crappy product.

Call Haier and tell them to send someone who can fix it, not the last guy. If you can't return it and give up, try this: http://www.micromatic.com/Forum/us-e...p?TOPIC_ID=637

I would like to take it back, but its been more than a year and I doubt BestBuy would take it back without a court order. I was turning the unit lower with each new keg and finally came to the conclusion that the Haier is not a good product. I was thinking of adding a fan when I found this website, and now I see other people have done it. So I guess I will try that. The t-stat tweak probably wont help me, because the cold plate is icing up now as it is. Thanks for the help.
