Default Beer washers

I was recently given a kegerator system from a friend and want to be sure that everything is in place prior to purchasing a keg. I have already cleaned all the components, however the black rubber washers are damaged. I will be purchasing new washers today. My question is : where are the black washers needed? He only gave me 2 washers.

1. Connecting the Regulator to the tank?
2. Connecting the CO2 hose to the regulator?
3. Connecting the CO2 hose to the coupler?
4. Connecting the beer hose to the coupler?
5. Connecting the beer hose to the faucet?

Thanks

Aviapv,

1) Hose to tank...no....regulator to tank....yes
2) No
3) There are only 2 hoses that go to the coupler, one from the CO2 tank and and the other to the faucet
4) Yes
5) No, when you purchase a new tower the hose going up the tower will already be connected to the faucet inside the tower.

All in all you will need 2 washers, one at the connection of the regulator to the CO2 tank and one at the connection at the top of the coupler with the hose that leads up the tower to the faucet.

Hope this helps.

John

Thanks John!

However I am not going to have a tower, just a faucet and shank in the door of a refrigerator. I am assuming I will also need a washer between the coupler nut and the shank. Is this true?

Thanks again.

I don't see anywhere in the instructions to have a washer hooked up where the regulator hooks up with the co2 tank? I bought the micromatic duel gauge regulator.
