Default Soda (Corny) Keg Question

I know that many homebrewers put their brew into soda kegs and so do some microbrewers. However, I was wondering besides my homebrew, what else can I fill these soda/corny kegs with? Can I tap a 1/4 keg of Bud or Miller and fill up a soda keg for later? Is it possible? Thanks.

Dan

An issue might be the loss of carbonation while filling. Possible to bottom fill?
