Default Foaming Problems

I recently purchased a new kegerator for the purpose of dispensing Home Brew [^], however I am currently waiting for my most recent batch of home brew to age. I have currently on tap a local PA lager, Yeungling, and I am expieriencing serious foaming problems. I've replaced the 3 feet of 1/4" beer line with six feet of feet of 3/16" line. My pressure is at 10 psi, beer temp about 38 degrees F. The first 2-3 seconds of pour are foam the rest is fine, so is a second glass if I pour right away. I suspect that the beer tower is warming up and causing the foaming, it's not insulated very well, just a thin (< 1/16") of packing foam. Should I attempt to actively cool the tower, either with a fan or something more high tech like a water pump, or just try more insulation?

(Topic moved by poster, sorry I placed it in the wrong place first time 'round)

Yeunling is a 2.5vol. beer. At 38 F, requires 13-14 PSIG. To prevent CO2 breakout behind the faucet, need to cool tower. Fan is most practical method.

What kegerator mfg. is using three feet of 1/4" ID line[?][?][?]

Danby. I realize that they are not best, but is was all that was available with a 25 mile radius, I live in north central PA very rural. Where can I find a chart that specifies the required psi for given temperature and CO2 vol?

Go to www.zahmnagel.com and locate the CO2 volume chart for beer. Always add two pounds push pressure to the equilibrium pressure that is on the chart for dispensing.
