Default foam, foam, good!

I'm still pretty new to the kegerator world -
Lately, the first 1/2 of a keg will flow with a LOT of foam - but by the time its 1/2 full, its pouring perfect.
Any ideas how to get that 1st half to pour with less foam?
For what its worth, I have Miller Lite 1/2 barrel....
