Foamy beer
Two weeks ago I bought an Avanti brand kegerator and for the past two weeks I've been trying to get it to work. I owned a kegerator prior to this recent purchase so I am familar with tapping a keg. However, for some reason I only get foamy beer. I dropped the Co2 pressure to 4. Any suggestions???????????[V]

What is your beer temperature, type of beer, length of 3/16", etc.?

You may be having the same problem I am. Mine is the fact that the tower is beer cooled and I need to find a way to get some cold air up there. I'm thinking of making a blower oout of two CPU fans, placing them in a project box and then hooking up a garbage disposal tube to them to route the air into the tower. I have the ability to power the fan with the 12V fan that is already in the cabinate by splicing the two together. I'll let you know how it works out.

I've been having issues with foam from my direct draw system also. It seems the first few ounces of beer will be all foam, after that the beer will run clear. My only solution to this is to discard the first second of flow with each pour. Is this normal? I have my beer at 34 degrees and 12 psi. The beer line is the standard length that came with the system, seems about 3 feet. I'm using a lager from a local microbrewery. It seems simalar to yuengling.
Thanks in advance for your help.

Does the micro brewer know what the carbonation level of the beer is? Also, Is your tower cooled? Is this 34 F the beer temperature?
