We are working on an in place system for our multi tap account. We have been using the cans and have used a pump in the past. It would be nice to eliminate some steps with the fixed caps.

My question is regarding pressurizing the can. The diagrams on this site show the Co2 or mixed gas feeding the can through a normal sankey. Is there any problem with using the available air compressor instead of the mixed gas? This would not only save gas but would allow us to set the pressure a little higher than the 22psi. that the mixed gas is at.

This brings the next question of how high is it safe to crank up the pressure, the thought is that the faster the solution moves the better. I know the joints don't like holding 50+psi but does anyone have a thought as to how far to push it safely?

Thanks
