Default Does this sound about right?

I'll be hooking up my kegerator tomorrow, have everything I need, just waiting for my friend to come over tomorrow with the right tools. So I just want to make sure I have the right setup going. I'm at only 43 feet as far as elevation goes. The first keg will just be bud light, at a temp of 38, so about 11-12 psi will be good? Right now I have only the 5 ft hose they gave with my kit, I'll be going to about 7-8 sometime soon, because I heard for beers like bud light, miller, etc, I will need a longer hose for it to not be foamy when poured. I'll just be getting a splicer off the site here, and another 3ft length of hose. That way I can easily convert back to 5 ft if I were to get a keg that required only the 5. Just wondering if this sounds right, or if there is somthing I'm missing or doing wrong.

I don't know what my elevation is but I live at the jersey shore, I am not underwater or in a flood zone, so I assume it is close to yours. (Your profile did not say where you live) I drink domestic lite beers and I use the 5 foot line that came with my kegerator. I set my co2 at 12 and keep my kegerator at 36 degrees. Never touched the temp or co2 dials since I got the thing (About 5 kegs ago) I have never had any kind of problems, so i assume you have everything right.

    Happy tapping.

I live in Maine, so probably right around the same elevation as you. Thanks.

For most A/B beers, including BL, they recommend 36 to 38 degrees at 12 to 14 psi, respectively. jhon is dead on and the beer shows it.
