Default Hose Taste...

Beer Hose Assembly - 3/16" I.D. Vinyl x 5' Long

I just installed the above hose to my system that I purchased from you guys. Now when the beer sits overnight in the line, I can taste
the hose in the first beer or two. I tried running hot water and cleaning chemicals through it without any luck. Now I am considering using a vinegar water solution. Is there any ideas to get rid of this taste when the beer sits in the line.....

All vinyl tubing - even brewer approved - has an initial off taste due to the plastic used to make it flexible. Eventually this will go away once the beer begins to permeate the hose itself. If you still have issues after a couple of days, Try your vinegar method. Word of caution - the vinegar may permeate the line.
