Default What makes beer look like it's watered down?

I have been drinking on a 1/2 barrel miller lite in my new kegerator and what comes out of my tap seems to be a lighter color than what I get out. Also I don't seem to feel the affects like what I get out. Am I crazy or are there some sort of explaination for this. Any thoughts...Thanks in advance...

Something else while it's on my mind it tastes as if it has more carbonation in it than it should but when poured it has about a 1" head on it which I would consider perfect. I have my co2 set on 11 psi is it possible it is overcarbonated? I've had the keg close to 2 months now and it still has about a 1/4 left in it. Any thoughts.....

It's Miller lite. It is watered down before it leaves the brewery. Otherwise, I think you're crazy

Would need to know the liquid temperature of the beer to determine the correct psi setting. Doubtful you're overcarbonating at 11. And how in the world do you get a keg to last 2 months and STILL have a 1/4 left?

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed.
Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery
and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might
be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself,
"It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than
be selfish and worry about my liver."

Mood and lighting play a role. Typical bars are darker than your typical house thereby making your beer seem a little darker than it appears at home. The latter may be explained by general mood when drinking (friends, etc..). Other than that I think your crazy too. lol.

Well I guess it's official..... I'M CRAZZZYYY!!!!! as a loon...... I guess I'm not as big an alcholic as my wife thinks...... Believe it or not as soon as I wrote this I blew my keg and to think I had some left.... well a trip to the beer store indeed. To respond to the watered down taste when it leaves the brewery....I couldn't agree more I've always been a big fan of all the different beers especially micro brews and still lovem but my shed was getting to big for my tool. If my tool only hung past my knees....I could still be enjoying them but I went on a low carb diet and Miller Lite was the only lower carb beer that I actually liked and luckily it has paid off I've downsized my shed and can look straight down without having to lean over to see my tool once again...... You guys are GREAT !!!! Thanks for all your replies....
