Default Dripping faucet

Hi all -posted before I get my new kegerator but only got one reply so I went ahead based on research and got a Summit (Sanyo)1206 which I picked up directly from Micromatic in PA. After a little tweeking due to foam issues _ i know have my first keg almost running smooth. Temp inside the unit where I have a thermometer is 34 degrees. PSI is at 8 and now beer is nice and cold and very good BUTthe faucet continues a drop drip. the faucet came with a seal in it AND an extra seal which I didnt use. Should I put another seal in there as I assume people will tell me this is a seal problem. or is it something else.

Advice is much appreciated as I go for my 3rd beer cold beer of the night.

There is only one, ring type washer that goes between the faucet and the shank. Remove the faucet and inspect for damage. Also pull apart you're faucet and make sure all of the rubber parts in there look good. Put faucet together and make sure everything is screwed together nice and snug. You should be ok after this. If not you may have a defective faucet.

I received my kegerator from MM a couple weeks ago. It's also a Summit unit, but the dual-tap model. One faucet has a consistent drip and the other is fine. It hasn't been a big deal, since it drips much more slowly than yours (probably one drip every hour or less), but the leak does seem to let air back into the line, so there is usually a few inches of air right above the coupler (the lowest point), which is a bigger concern for me.

OK, this is weird: just as I was typing this, someone from MicroMatic called and told me they are going to ship me a new faucet. So...I would recommend sending them an email at the "support" address and let them know you're having the same problem!
