How long does it take for the keg to get down to the set temperature once put in the fridge?

Depends on how warm it got during the drive and the size of the keg, but about a good 24 hours to be completely sure.

Default Its in the kitchen

Almost had it to the bedroom, but the girlfriend thought I might be too distracted.

holy cr@p! Now that would be the perfect bedroom. A mini-fridge, a kegerator, and a girlfriend..... (as long as my wife didn't find out)

Sometimes when I reflect back on all the beer I drink I feel ashamed.
Then I look into the glass and think about the workers in the brewery
and all of their hopes and dreams. If I didn't drink this beer, they might
be out of work and their dreams would be shattered. Then I say to myself,
"It is better that I drink this beer and let their dreams come true than
be selfish and worry about my liver."
