Question extending my beer hose

I think i have read enough and have an decent idea on how to do this.
Seems straight forward, please let me know if i am wrong.
Cut hose from keg coupler side, stick one end of a splicer in the side to runs to the faucet, clamp down. Attach new piece to splicer, clamp. New piece has a connector to the coupler. Test flow at pressure you want to run, in my case miiler lite , so roughly 14psi for 38*. If too slow, loose at splicer and cut 4 inches and try again.

I would just replace the whole thing from the back of the shank, to the coupler.

Agreed, if you're going to put in a new piece of line, and you have enough, you're better off with an entirely new line. Fresh, clean, and less failure / trouble points!

i appreciate the feedback, thanks guys. I had new line, due to it being a new kegorator and all. I did extend the lines as above and bumped the pressure to 14or 15 psi and i cant be happier. All good , great beer pour. That micromatic regulator is bough the premium dual guage is just terrific.

Next, cooling that tower!!!
