Default Leaking gas

I've have a problem with leaking co2 where the regulator connects with my bottle. Ive tried a fiber washer and it was fine for a week and now is leaking. Anyone have a better solution?

Check for pits or dings in the metal of the regulator or the tank. If the surfaces are good tighten it a little more.
