Default NEW Kegerator bad taste

I just got a new Kegerator so everything is clean. The beer no matter what kind tastes like plastic or a little sour. I have tried cleaning and boiling the lines which seems to give me a day of better tasting beer. But if I don't drink for a couple days it gets right back to the sour bad taste.

PLEASE help with any ideas.

I recall one of the Danby/Summit whatever brands giving a plastic taste to the beer because of the back flow ball. What brand is it? Search for 'plastic' or 'plastic taste'.

Beer tastes like rubber hose

Six post down after searching for +plastic +taste (the + in front of the word requires that word to be in the post, the combo of the two requires both to be in it). I didn't read through the other posts, but this one should give you a place to start. Good luck and let us know once you find the culprit.

Remove the check ball & see if that solves the problem.
