Default Pressurized cleaner help

I bought the pressurized bottle cleaner from Micromatic.... I can't be this stupid though... I hooked it up exactly as shown, yet when i tap and pull handle all I get is air.... see a few bubbles coming up through the lines but that's it... i checked and re-checked the connections, keg taps just fine, what am I doing wrong here... instructions say "make sure dip tube is pressed onto bottle cap" - my dip tube is just a piece of hard plastic, it doesnt fit over the plastic piece it just rests on it when i put the bottle cap on... seems like maybe that's the issue... ? maybe i am this stupid??

It takes some effort, but you have to force the tube onto the connector.

Ok, will do my best, seems like the tube is the exact width of the connector and is thick hard plastic so not too pliable.... will go eat a bowl of Wheaties and try again thanks for the help.
