Default CO2 cleaner...

I need to buy a new part for my faucet which only costs $1.75 so I was looking around at other parts since I have to pay a flat rate shipping.

I was curious about the CO2 cleaner that you stick on the line. Does anyone have any experience with it and is it worth $30?

What does everyone else consider to be the best buy extra addition for your kegeator? (I bought a nice faucet handle off ebay recently)

Thanks

Don't know about the CO2 cleaner. I wouldn't think its necessary for a home system.

What about a dual gauge regulator? Or a pressurized cleaning bottle? The pressurized cleaning bottle is awesome. It makes cleaning your system so easy (and not as messy).

I love my Ventmatic (Shirron) front sealing faucet. All stainless, fewer drips and it never sticks.

Default Cleaning bottle?

I'm browsing for a cleaning system for the beer line when I saw this. Basically, what cleaning is the easiest and best? I'm not all that worried about cost. It's the ease of use and quality that's more important to me.

Is this the "suggested" item to use? Anything else I'd need?

Thanks!

yea i believe that's what he was talking about. I have the cleaning system that you have to pump. it works well but the seal on the tower isn't the best (i just put a small cup underneath, not a big deal).

I'm also going to get the double guage regulator. For me, my CO2 always seems to run about before i'm going to have a party. Hopefully it'll take most of the guest work out of it.

I use the pump style as well, but only to get it started. Afterwards the solution is siph-oned (why in the world is that word filtered by the system?)through the system. I also stop the end of the line that is sitting in a bucket with a plastic golf tee for a minute or so to let it soak. Anything that drips out at the faucet connection is used to clean around where beer drips during normal use.

Yes, this is the system that you need if you want a pressurized cleaning system. Just put the cleaning powder and water in the bottle and tap it with the coupler like you would a keg. You can run some through the lines, then close the tap and let it sit in the lines for 15 minutes and the flush it through followed by water.

Default Pressurized

Wow, the pressurized one is more than I spend on a keg (Mich Ultra). How many uses do you get out of it?

Because of that phone-i Pod-email-internet contraption that Apple released last summer...
