Default Need quick help! Need to tune my pressure and temp before party!

Just got a new keg of bud light for my graduation party and I need to set my kegerator up again. I want ice cold beer, literally at 32-33 degrees and I want my kegerator to yield almost no foam but at the same time not go flat

I have the standard A-E controls for the freezer and 0-9 controls for the refrigerator. Anyone know what I should set these to in order to get down to freezing temperature? (of water)

Also what psi is your system set up for? Remember it will be for family members that probably have never poured their own beer before and I dont want my garage floor reaking of old beer

Need to get this right by today! I went out today and checked the fridge. The display was reading 33.6 and the alcohol thermometer on the inside was reading 30 or so and also left a glass of water on top of the keg with a digital thermometer in it and that was reading 31.1 so I think I almost got the fridge where I want it. Going to try and adjust it a little more cold but still need help on getting it to pour without too much foam

If you're worried about beer pouring too fast, causing foam, just lower the PSI a few pounds for the party to slow the pour. The beer isn't going to go flat in a few hours or even 12 hours. Just turn it back up to normal after the party is over, if there's any beer left. I had a family party just two weeks ago, and everyone managed to pour their own beer just fine without me having to do anything.

Also, with the beer that cold, you need to reduce the PSI to around 10 anyways, otherwise you will overcarbonate.

14 is the correct pressure for a temperature of 38. You should drop 1 lb for every 2 degree drop in temp. So if your beer is 30, your pressure should be 10. Otherwise the beer towards the end of the keg will be over carbonated.

My fridge seems like it keeps running but isnt accomplishing much. Its pushed up against the wall of my garage
Would putting a matching set of fans on the back help?
Ive got 2 brand new matching fans I bought years ago at a yard sale for a few bucks.
Heres the exact model as found on the sticker

COMAIR ROTRON | 028245(MR2B3) | Fans, Axial | Fans, Heat Sinks & Thermal Management | Newark.com

If I hook up in series, theyll run half the speed with less than half the noise. Plus theyre apparently rated at 235 cfm each anyway at full voltage. I dont want to be making a wind tunnel in my garage or anything

Is it best to have the fans pull from the front to the pack or push from the back to the front of the fridge?
Its out in my garage w/o any heat or a/c as well

Oh, btw, cubby, did you see the craigslist ad I posted of a guy giving a free kegerator away in STL?

yep. I saw that add on CL several days ago. I'm working on cleaning the garage out, not bringing more stuff in. The bit about the mold sealed the deal on that one for me.

Damn. Now the liquid temp is up to 38 deg f again. I need to find a colder setting on this but seems like no matter how long it runs, the fridge doesnt get any colder
