Default Do a visual

Maybe it has dust or cat hair on it, causing a wobble.

What sort of noise is it? Is it squealing or does the fan blade sound like it is hitting something?

If it is the fan blade it is an easy fix. If it is squealing the bearings are probably bad.

Larger would be a good move. The bigger blades mean either more cfm for your rpm's or less rpms to make the same amount of cfm. Either way a win/win. Plus you can probably put a really nice fan in and will be ultra quiet and last a while
