guinness jets of foam
I have kegerator with guiness setup & learning how to set up - connected new keg @ 25lb and poured 4 perfect Guiness and then !! high pressure "jets" of foam from faucet - cleaned restrictor plate - went up in pressure and down - no change still jets of foam - line from keg has no bubbles - temp is 32 to 37 - gas is 25/75 nit - any suggestions

Other replies mentioned good smooth connections so I re-taped the keg - and checked all connection for smooth gaskets and rough edges - FOUND damaged washer between faucet and tower connection - I replaced and set nit/co2 to 37 lb and have perfect Guinness danb

How can you possibly have a such a wide swing in your temperature? Try to target 38 F and your system will be more consistent.

I improved the method of temp recording with water and digital thermoter and found temp higher than expected - adjusted and now holding even 38 to 38.5 degrees - Guinness has improved
