Default baffling leak

Ok I have had a leak for a month now and have used a couple co2 tanks trying to discover the cause. I have ordered a new line and co2 regulator. I can not detect any leak with soapy water spray. I didn't have a washer the first time so I thought that was the problem, but it wasn't. Now I am thinking after reading a couple posts that it is because the co2 nozzle was not turned all the way on. Does this seem like it could be a possible cause???
