Default Hose not fitting on nozzle??

OK, so I have one of the Danby Kegerators and I love it. Problem is, we let the line go to long with stale beer in it so we had to replace the hose all together.

When I got the hose I screwed the one end onto the coupler and everything seemed ready to go. When I went to screw the other end to the Faucet side I realized it wasn't the same design. The only thing I can do is to try and put the hose directly on the nozzle which is no big deal...... Until I tried. It seems like these hoses are forced on by machine because the diameter of the hose is MUCH smaller then the diameter of the metal nozzle. How can I get this the hose on there? I was thinking of maybe heating it up to make it loose, but I don't want any melted plastic in my line. Any idea how to get the hose on the nozzle?

Assuming that the "nozzle" has barbs and is slightly larger than 1/4" O.D., microwave some water in a cup and place about an inch of the tub in the water. This will soften up the line and hopefully you will be able to rotate around the end of the nozzle until the entire tube fits over it. Then worm the tube back and forth allowing the barbs to work for you. Place enough tubing on the nozzle so that you can use a clamp to secure.
