head on beer
when i pour a glass of bud light, i get just over an inch of head. how long should that head last until it disipates? mine seems do dissolve quckly after my first drink.

Its funny, I have never timed the head on my suds because it never lasts that long enough before it is time to fill it up again burpppppppp!

Normally this is a symptom of either flat beer or glassware not being clean. Give us the specifics of your system such as temperature and pressure and how are you cleaning your glassware. We'll try to solve your issue.

temp = 39
pressure = 8
i live in ohio
beer line is 50" long
glass are "beer clean"
my beer seems to taste fine and i have carbonation bubbles in my beer, but not as much as the draught beer from a restaurant. would the long vs. short draw have any affect on that?
also, there is alot of useful info on abdraught.com if anyone is interested.

when i increase my pressure to 10 psi, i get far fewer carbonation bubbles in my beer. also, what kind of affect is there if the dispense point of the beer is lower (about 6-8") than the top of the keg? would that cause a change in the amount of pressure i sould apply?

Duane,
Bud light has a CO2 volume of about 2.6 and so, at 39 degrees you should be using a around 13 PSI. Use the calculator at this link to see what I mean.
