Default line cleaning information

I purchased a 5 liter pressurized system and it came without any instructions. It says never fill past the max fill line on the side of the bottle, but not max fill line exists? It came with a long tube that I assume I attach to the bottom of the cap, this goes to the bottom of the bottle. I have attached everything, turned on the CO2 and nothing comes out of the tap, but CO2? Not sure why it is not forcing the liquid through the tap? Can't get in touch with the company because it's Saturday. The web page only has instructions posted for the hand pump system...so far I'm not impressed with this product or company!

Normally this type system is used commercially and most techs are aware of its operation. What may have happened is the tube fell off after you screwed the top on. Check it and be certain that the tube is secure as well as all cap gaskets are in place for a tight seal.

Default another attempt.

Hello All.

I had the same issue as the previous gentleman. I bought the Micro Matic 5 liter pressurized system and found absolutely no instructions except what was on the bottle of BLC. Those were extremely lacking.

Please Micro Matic, start including instructions with these kits. You'll save yourself a ton of time answering questions and foster goodwill with your customers. As it is now, my impression of the company is less than great. I've spent a pretty good amount of time messing with this today, a Sunday, instead of knocking it out in half an hour or so.

Please, please, please include directions.

Anyone know how to clean the faucet with BLC? How do I take it apart, etc?

Thanks.

Default OK

So, I'm going to go with the spirit of most of these forums and assume that the LOL you added at the end of your post is the overwhelming tone of the post.

That said, I followed the link. The "see the directions" link wouldn't open with Safari. I eventually got it to open with Firefox.

Prior to posting originally, I searched for 45 minutes looking for directions. At least.

The least they can do is put flipping directions in the box. After all, as you'll note, they indicate that they do.

"Beer Line Cleaning Kit Includes:
5 Liter shatter proof plastic cleaning bottle with an American Sankey "D" system bottle cap and a dip tube.
16 oz. tub of cleaning powder.
Nylon cleaning brush.
Faucet wrench.
Complete, and detailed, easy to follow instructions."

At least in MY kit, they were AWOL.

Call that whining if you will. I call it bad customer service and bad for biz in the long run.

Interesting... I have this same cleaning bottle. I've never thought to clean the keg coupler. I always remove the faucet, disassemble it and clean it as the instructions indicate but it never occured to me to do the coupler the same way.

BTW, I agree the instructions should be included. I never found the instructions online either when I bought mine.

embo9, you should clean the faucet with every line clean. Take the faucet off of the tower with a collar wrench and then take it apart. You can see a diagram of the faucet here (click on replacement parts). Be careful not to loose any little pieces down the drain. You can soak the dissembled faucet in the cleaning solution for a couple of minutes. Don't touch the cleaning solution.

You will notice two faucet vents (small holes inside part #7 - faucet body). Stick a tooth pick in there to clean out the build up.
