Default Kegerator colder

Other than lowering the thermostat, how can I make my kegerator colder? I have a Danby DKC645BLS and it hovers around 37%, but that's just not cold enough. I have a fridge in the same area in the basement bar and bottles of beer from there are far colder.

Any thoughts other than turning down the thermostat?

Is 37 what you measured or what the Danby displays? Because these are often two different measurements. Search this forum for Danby and you'll find quite a bit of discussion about Danby as well as a couple of methods of making things better in this area for the Danby.

It's what the Danby displays. I haven't done any testing of the temp myself.

do as i did ...turn down the termostat so the beer comes out as cold as you like it. remember the beer has alcohol in it and the freezing temp is lower than water.

I have the same unit and my internal liquid temp was coming out at 40 degrees when the display was reading 36. I did the resistor mod and now my internal liquid temp is 36 after a few hours. Do as psychodad suggested and check for the mods.
