Default Elbow Shank

I have the Danby DKC645BLS system and am not happy with the foam that I get. I would like to replace the shank as it seems the tube with the beer in it is bring crimped. Which MicroMatic Elbow shank will fit my unit. Also, is there anything else I should be concerned about.

Thanks!

John

Check out this link for Elbow Shank. Hopefully these will fit. Other issues are the usual - beer temp., brand of beer and elevation with appropriate pressure.

I just returned the same unit to Sams for a refund. The temperature never was right. I called for service and it is now 30 days the parts have been ordered. Not sure what parts because all the tech did when he came out was get the serial number. It appears Danby has issues and they know about them. I finally bit the bullet after the Danby and a Haier experience and bought a True TDD-1. This is a commercial unit and you can expect to pay about double the cost of the Danby, but I will tell you the quality is double. The unit was picked up last night and a new keg put in. Temp is set on 34 and it is maintained at 34. Tower is cooled and the unit is air cooled. I will warn you though it makes more noise than the Danby due to the style cooling. The Danby and the Haier are both converted refrigerators, first tip off is they come with refrigerator shelves. The true is designed to be a keger and nothing else, no way to put shelves in.

Just my opinion and experience!
Bob
