Default How to blow off a keg

I'm new to the keg world and am having problems with foam. I have my Danby set to 36 degrees, am using Miller Lite beer, but I don't know the liquid temp.

The question I have though is how do I blow off a keg after it's taped? Do I need special equimpent?

I think the foam problem is from the "Beer Cooled" tower, and I'm going to try and use the copper pipe tip that one person had.

One other question I have is with the faucet. When I assembled it, I had a washer that really didn't fit too well. COuld this be causing some of the problem? Should I even be using this washer? It appeared that there was a small one in there already, but when I attached the faucet to the spout, it was loose, so I assumed it needed the washer.

Thanks!

John
