Default Help with new set up

I have had this converstion for 2 year s this year i updated the old black 3/16 line with 1/4 clear line i had a 1/4" shank and coupler so i figured why not....now the pour is way too fast and tooooooo much head (wild beer)...iv tried 1-14 ounds of preasure with the same result...temp is ok 36hecked with 2 termos and cal. the second one...i have bud select on tap...beer has sat overnight after tapping

just put the 3/16 back on/back to normal....i would like to use the new line because i spent good money on it and i like the clear vs the black to be able to see whats going on....so is there a way to get the 1/4 to work right?

make sure your faucet is clean. A little bit of shmeg will cause that. I run about 8 - 10 psi

You might also want to increase the length of your line. Mmscott has said that many times, use the line length not gas pressure to control flow.

1/4" would work if you use around 18' of it. Just not practical. Start with 7' to 8' of clear 3/16". The bud select is around 2.5 vols. of CO2 which requires 13 PSIG @ 36F @ sea level to 2000' Get the pressure correct and then cut back the 3/16" in six inch increments until you acquire the flow desired. By the way, is the 36F temp from the second glass of beer or from a glass of water in the kegerator?
