Default Another foaming question from a new owner.

I recently purchased a Danby chill n tap from my local sams club. Everything is installed per the booklet, CO2 set at 11 psi into the keg but it is pouring almost nothing but foam. I know that I didnt let the keg sit for long enough after I transported it, so I let it sit (tapped) overnight.

I called danby and they had me set the CO2 lower (about 6 psi) and did some other tests. They are sending me a new spout in the mail, should be here in 4 days.

1.) The beer in the lines has very little foam. Only one section I found with less than a half inch of foam. The rest of the line is clear beer. Danby said this is normal.

2.) Pressure now set to 6 psi as stated and turning off the CO2 to the keg makes no difference.

I suppose I am waiting 4 days for the new spout to arrive, but if anyone has any suggestions they would be appreciated.

What temperature is the beer (liquid), beer type/brand, and what elevation are you dispensing. Thanks to these so called "support folks" at Danby, I can sleep at night knowing I have job security. As long as they communicate their pressure recommendations, there will always be dispensing problems!

Did you install that washer on the faucet? The book never said whet to do with it.

Did the new faucet solve this problem? I am curious as I have a similar issue with my new Danby.

Thanks for any info you can provide.
