Default Foamy Flat Beer

Hey all; I just bought a used Frigidaire PLKU1267D Kegerator at a resteraunt supply store. This frigidaire is using a Micromatic system. I'm having trouble with excessive foam and flat tasting beer. The liquid temp in the fridge is 34 degrees. The pressure was set to 14 psi for Molson Canadian. The beer line is about 5 feet long. I've tested for leaks with soapy water and can find none. I have dropped the pressure to 11 psi but still get foam and flat taste.
I have been reading all the posts on this forum in regard to this problem and have tried numerous fixes. I can't seem to get a handle on this and I am desperate to enjoy my new toy. I must be missing something. I don't have alot of patience to wait for the system to stabilize and it's very frustrating to not get a perfect pour. My dog is having a field day licking up all the foam from the bucket that I dump my failed experiments in. Maybe I should get him to kick in for the next keg. Any help with my problem would be appreciated.

If your beer temp is 34, you should be dispensing at about 12 psig. If you are getting all foam sounds like a mechanical issue with a burr or sharp edge somewhere. Take apart all fittings and evaluate. Check seal on top of keg and be certain that there are no cuts, tears or cracks.
