Default High altitude foam

Have a Haier kegerator set at about 34 degrees with the C02 at 14 psi and get substantial foam. I have been told I need a 10 or 12 foot beer line, not the 5 footer that came with the unit. If this is true can someone tell me the diameter of the line so I don't have to take it apart more than once.

What elevation do you live at? If you are at sea level and are dispensing a common 2.5 volume product (most domestics), for 34F you should target 12 PSIG and leave the five foot of 3/16" installed. Do not control the flow rate speed with your pressure. You alter this with the length of 3/16"
