air pockets
Hi I have a kegerator with a tower set-up that I purchased new off of ebay. I have the liquid temperature of the beer inside the kegerator at 38 degrees measured with an accurate thermometer and I have the pressure at 14 psi. I have 6 feet of beer line at 3/16 and I am at around 1400 ft of elevation. I currently have my first keg inside which is a half barrel of molson golden. I am experiencing problems because I have pockets of air forming at the top and bottom of the beer line. After pouring a beer I can sometime see air bubbles coming up from inside the keg into the line. What could be the causes of these problems?? Any help would be much appreciated. Thank You.
