Danby Sputtering draw problem
I just bought my first kegerator, it seems I unfortunately bought a Danby, but I think my problem is not the Danby at least not yet. I have what the manual calls a sputtering draw. When I first pour, a little bit comes out then the spout coughs or expels a gas bubble, this happens on every pour. I also get 80-90% foam but I would imagine these are related. There are many bubbles in the beer line, I've read that it could be a leak, but I'm not sure where I should be looking. The manual says to clean the system (it's brand new this shouldn't be the problem), the coupler is installed incorrectly (it's not), kinks in line (none) or improper draw (not possible). I have tried pressures from 5-18 psi and the cough is always there, but larger cough at higher pressures. Can anyone please offer some advice?

Fix For Danby Sputtering Draw Problem
I Had The Same Problem When I Bought My Danby Kegerator, It's A Simple Fix. The Problem Is With The Gasket In The Faucet That Danby Supplied With The Unit, It's Too Small For The Faucet. I Fixed Mine With A #10 O-ring From A Home Center In The Plumbing Isle, Or You Can Order A Set Of Gaskets From Micro Matic.

O-rings and gaskets and whatnot should usually be bought from Micro Matic or the like to be certain that they are beer dispensing approved. Just as beer line is not plastic hose, faucet washers and such are not just rubber gaskets.

I would like to replace the gasket in the faucet and the gasket that sits between the beer line and the coupler. I looked on Micro Matic for a gasket kit, but couldn't find anything. I'm not sure which gaskets I would need to replace these 2.

Thanks for the help, I found the replacement parts tabs after some searching on the site. I placed an order for the o-rings and gaskets that I though might help my problem. Hopefully once I receive them I can get the bubble in the beer line to stop.

I got the replacement gaskets and changed the ones I thought were bad, but still had the problem. I'm not sure how I missed it before but there is a v notched cut in the seal on the keg. I used one of the gaskets I bought and placed it under the coupler, the keg then inhaled and now everything is pouring great. The keg may have been without CO2 for a week, is there anything I can do to prevent it from going flat?

If it isn't flat yet, you will be fine.
