beer leaking form holes on spout

im new to the kegerator thing and i just hooked mine up and there are 4 or 5 lil holes around the spout that keep on leaking what is this why and how do i stop it

That ring is called a collar and you need to tighten it with a collar wrench. Very important to remember that it is REVERSE thread. So turn it counter clockwise to tighten.
