Wink Haier update

forum members, just sending an update on Hairer mods. Have done the basics (adjustment on thermostat, internal fan for frost control, tower cooling modification, and final defrost of ice build up on coil). I now have liquid temp of beer @ 37 degrees. Need minor adjustment of line lenght, but package has not arrived yet, should be tomorrow. Still a little too much foam on first poor, but increase of line should take care of that. You might want to do a little experiment that I did, and that is to check the sealing of door. Just wait until dark, turn all lights off, and put a flashlight inside kegerator, close door and see if light is visable on outside. If you see light your seal is not complete, that is the case on my setup. I tried door adjustment, but just not right. Went to hardware store and picked up door latches, screwed to door front and side. No more light, no more icing on cooler plate.

By the way, Brystal2 how did your mods help with your set up? Hope you are as happy as I am. I believe that Don Ho sings "Tiney Bubbles, in my Beer". And that is what I have. Went to local pub yesterday for a sample test of draft, mine tastes better. AND THAT I LOVE.

Good luck to all, and good drinking.
