Default Taste a little flat

OK, so I have a Haier Brewmaster, and I got the 5lb co2 running at 14 PSI and the keg liquid temp is 32 degrees....the beer pours perfect, but the head flattens out after 30 seconds and the beer taste a little flat. There is plenty of carbonation when you drink it if you swish it around in your mouth, but it still just taste a little flat...any suggestions?

Turn up the temp. At 32 degrees the co2 stays in the beer more, at 38 you should find a good balance. That is why when you swish it in your mouth (ala warm it up) it tastes fine. Another problem is that when it hits your stomach and the beer warms, the gas releases which will make you feel full quicker and you will not be able to drink as much beer as you may want. Bad news for bar owners because the guy gets up, leaves, burps and then stops at the next bar.
