Default powering blower

I picked up one of those antec graphic blowers ive been readin about. I was just wondering what anyone is using to power them.. I tried using my 12volt landscape lighting transformer bu tit blew it. Need to get another one but dont want to blow that too. Please give some suggestions on how to power it. Thanks for the help this is a great forum.

You need a 5 volt DC transformer, with 300-350 miliamp source. I am using a cell phone charger. Works fine. Just check on the back of the base to check specs. I did the same thing, and assumed a/c. Went and bought a second fan, plugged into d/c charger, and works just fine. You also need to make sure that connections are proper, because the LED lights built into fan unit, wil not allow current to flow if reversed. Hope this helps.
