Default Noob Questions for Erdinger

I have been doing some reading on here for days before I decided to take the leap and try to start pouring my own draft from home. I love Erdinger and I am working on getting a ¼ or ½ (which has been tough in my area) I have ordered the standard door kit with proper S coupler and some pump and probe lub.

That is some of my questions… For Erdinger:

1. Need a 60/40 blend (Co2/N) (as long as the mix is in my cylinder I can use the standard regulator is what the sales rep from MM told me. (adapter needed if I use N tanks)
2. Use a 22 PSI
3. Temps at 38

I don’t quiet understand the length of the beer tubes or the use of lb/ft restrictions on tubing.
Also I will most likely be the only drinker (may have a friend over once in a blue moon)
How often do I need to clean out the system for a solo drinker?

Also if I plan on pouring Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat will I need to go to straight 100% CO2?

Possibly thinking about ordering another kit to run a dual old GE fridge setup.
But if I need to use a separate tank for a straight CO2 then Im not sure.

I know this is a lot to ask but you guys on this site seem to have ya s$@t together.

Thanks
New Beer Enthusiast

P.S. I am sure I will have more questions to come and thanks in advance for any replies!!

I am not sure why you would need a 60/40 blend for Erdinger. Off the cuff i would use straight co2 at about 16-17 psi depending on your altitude. With regards to your restriction question, what you want to do is take what ever pressure you are serving your beer at use a beer line with a restriction value that equals it. Use about 6-7' to balance off the 16-17 psi used to pour. Keeping this balanced is what allows the beer to pour at this pressure w/o flying out of the tap. Sunset Wheat will be poured at about 15 psi and yes would use straight co2.

Well from a previous post on here, someone stated that Erdinger would go flat in about a week without the blended gas. So thats why I assumed that.

Very last reply on this topic talks about Erdinger:
Correct PSI and tube length for Schneider Weiss

Thanks for the info about the Sunset Wheat...
