Default Flat beer

I had problems with my kegerator because of wild beer. I lengthened my hose to 10' and havnt had a problem with foam. But now i have extremely odd tasting and flat beer. It will develop a head but dissipates very quickly. I had this keg as low as 1 psi on co2 and as high as 20 psi, i have agitated it till no gas came out of bleeder, When i did a liquid temp test my cup froze solid and i have completely rebuilt the system several times trying to fix the wild beer. Now i am at 36 degrees, 10 psi and everything is right. Do i need to just start over on a new keg??? I think i might have put this one through too much hell.

The beer is not cloudy, it has a little bit of a strong odor and taste like a beer you have left on your counter for a week.

well, im new to this forum....but i think in my 3 hrs of reading i saw a post that said if you over pressurize the keg for a while....you could re-introduce co2 into the liquid.
sorry if im misquoting this, but what the hell....you cant do anymore damage.

Unless you desire to drink the beer as it is, you would be much better off starting with a new keg. Cloudy beer is an indication that the beer froze and there is some separation. Also, with the variations of applied pressure and the shake down of the keg, the carbonation of the beer could be way out of whack. At 36 F, with a 2.6 CO2 vol. beer, use 12 to 13 PSIG.
