Default Still No Beer after reading several "No Beer" Topics

Im sure this topic gets pretty tiresome on this board, but Im getting really annoyed after trying many things you guys have suggested on the board. I just bought a brand new Avanti (I know how you guys hate this model) from Best Buy. Im pretty sure everything is setup the correct way. I bought a bud light keg and tapped it. Turned on the co2 to 12psi and i get a sputter of foam and thats about it. There is little to no movement in the beer hose and what little movement there is its just foam. Ive checked the ball in the coupler and it rattles around so its not stuck. Ive tried retapping it several times and then just leaving tapped with the pressure on for a couple hours....still nothing. Any kind of help would be appreciated...thanks

underneath your regulator there is a valve that should be parallel to the air line. It will be right where the air line is attached. Also did you push the handle down on the coupler when you tapped the barrel? Sometimes the most obvious things are over looked!

The other thing could be the keg. Inspect the black ring where you tap the keg and see if it is damaged at all. There is a little raised ring that separates the gas from the beer. If this is comprimised then it could produce the results you a re experiencing.

Also, are you sure the CO2 line is attached to the side of the coupler, and the beer line to the top?

What kind of beer is it? Are you sure it takes a "D" system sankey?
