Default In-Line CO2 Purifiers

How many 5 lb tanks of gas can one push through one of these before it needs replacing? http://www.micromatic.com/draft-keg-...0SG-L1300.html

It says replace after 12 months but maybe that's for people who don't drink as much as you do psychodad? []

I'm thinking of getting one myself. I filled my CO2 tank at a place that does soft drinks so it *SHOULD* be food-grade CO2 (I would think). But (and this might just be coincidence) after having the first beer out of my system, the next day I had a bit of a cough and shortness of breath (the headache and queasy stomach can be attributed to my celebration of the installation of said system!)

Cool

i use a different co2 filter that A-B supplies my distributorship with. i replace each one every 12 months even in the high volume accounts. so i would suspect that even with an enormous consumption rate through a single kegerator, once a year would be fine.
